Jessica Wilson

Director - Lead Designer

Having spent my weekends when I was in the army making and selling beaded jewellery at car boot sales, when the time came to leave the army I decided to follow my heart. I was always fascinated by the intricacy and design of pieces in jeweller’s windows, so I decided to study in Hatton Garden. This led me to study Jewellery Design and Manufacture at the Holts Academy, now BAJ, where I graduated with a distinction and recived a nomination for Cookson's Alumni of the year award 2014.

I was immediately drawn to CAD, having an affinity with modern technology. I used this skill to obtain the above roles at several jewellers where I learnt all other aspects of the manufacture and sales of retail jewellery. If my time in the army taught me anything it was that hard work and determination pay off in the end. That, combined with my passion for jewellery and design has led me here. Now I am a business owner, my passion lies with our interaction with customers and hearing their stories, transforming them into treasured pieces they will cherish forever. I am fortunate to be featured in an article by the Retail Jeweller Magazine where my career is exensivly documented. Click this link if you would like to read more.

Opal Harland

Jewellery Designer – CAD Technician

With the name Opal, it’s inevitable to be associated with the world of jewellery, but luckily for me I have loved jewellery for as long as I can remember. When I was studying Classics at university, I found myself gravitating towards jewellery yet again, choosing it as the topic of my undergraduate dissertation. It was during this time that I started to appreciate jewellery on a deeper level, not only for its aesthetic beauty, but I fell in love with the infinite possibilities of inspiration, design and construction that goes into it, as well as its history and powerful significance. This led me to study Jewellery Design and Manufacture at the British Academy of Jewellery, where I graduated with a distinction. Having working in several areas of the jewellery industry since, I am now enjoying working as a Jewellery Designer – CAD Technician as each day presents new creative challenges and I am continuing to learn about what I love.
